Gemcraft labyrinth c11 amulet5/25/2023 When a giant wave comes up, anger it less times than usual, but with higher grades. Upgrade amps a few times after that, then upgrade kill gem (time it so you don’t lose mana to banishment). I tend to give them grade 4 gems for starters. When you’re at a good spot, first construct amps. Make sure your main tower spot cannot hit too close to the entrance (it may be worth building a new tower further away a few times in the game), but have it cover quite a bit of the path (if you do overanger, that’s your life line). Divide it between manapool and tower improvement, while keeping enough availlable for angering. You should gain a lot more mana than usual. Use higher grades for bombing whenever it’s profitable, but don’t overextend. Pause before each wave starts and anger as much as is wise. Anger the first wave as much as you can handle using g1 stones I tend to do 12-15 bombs (but that obviously depends on resonance). When satisfied, pick a spot for your tower, wall what is necessary, get a grade 7 Y/L in the tower. Start: restart until you have 3 or 4 giant waves early on. Do NOT use double monsters or swarms, even for the 7k kills, because both will cripple your mana gain. Other skills I tend to have maxed gem skills I use are chain, multiple and possibly managain. I tend to keep them at equal skillpoint investment per level, but see what works for you. Get a high replenish, high enough focus for a good start, rest into resonance. If you did all the pylons with 50x summon multiply, that’s a good start. First, reach a good level to start trying it. Indeed all are possible except 100 waves, generally all with the same tactic: **EDIT:** almost forgot the base advice: manapool, manapool, manapool It won’t matter if they lap a few times.Īnd, last but not least: it’s possible, I also have all 14 non-100 waves CA, so if at first you don’t succeed… restart on random waves, because there may be more giants in the next mix… If you’re close, anger the cr\*p out of the last wave with as high grade gems as you can afford. Once you reach a grade 12 L/Y with 8 surrounding amps, you can anger 500-1000 (depending on amp levels and other skills) easily, which means you can hit the target 7k in just a few waves. Your replenish multiplier should make this worth it, even when monster base gain is 4 mana. Especially on the 14 and 18 wave maps, anger at least with 9 grade 1 gems from the start. When going for the 7k kills, ignore all other goals. Dump a **lot** of skill points into replenish. First, use the 5 pylon levels to level up using the 50x summon multiplier. While it might seem obvious, it’s way better to use random waves. ![]() ![]() > The most obvious way to do this is to set it to Double Monsters and Swarm. This means you will have to anger a lot more, but the mana return from angering will not always be a loss, especially if you happen across quite a few Giant waves (get as much mana as you can from these – you need it for summoning and building stronger kill gems for the angered waves). The other way would be to use Random waves. However, since swarm monsters give very little mana, angering is always a mana loss (you paid more mana for the gems used to anger than you get back from the extra monsters), unless you have a very high level of Replenish. This has the benefit of having every wave with initially 80 to 120 Swarm monsters, so there is somewhat less angering required to meet the CA requirement. The most obvious way to do this is to set it to Double Monsters and Swarm. The number of waves available vary from as few as 29 to as many as 61 (including the extra waves from the 15 waves setting). ![]() The fewer waves there are available to you, the more angering is required to summon enough monsters (and therefore making the monsters harder to kill). The “Kill 7000 monsters” CAs will vary in difficulty depending on how many waves you are given to work with. Bonuses from any Amplifiers or a Bloodbound component **do not** count towards that damage. Dual gems gain a further 15% to damage if you have maxed Dual Gem Mastery. Mana farms will make the mana CAs easy (they’re 70k and 80k, which aren’t hard).įor the “Build a gem with x damage”, Resonance obviously directly aids you in this. Discounting the 100 wave CAs leaves you with 14 to attempt.
